From an agricultural heartland to a thriving residential area, Sydney’s north-west has gone through a dramatic transformation.
With turbocharged transport connections and a new wave of shops, homes, and businesses, the area has become one of the fastest-growing regions of Greater Sydney. Rouse Hill is located roughly halfway between Parramatta and North Richmond, it makes sense that the suburb is becoming a well-sought suburb.
Famous for its rural heritage as the site of the early-1800s farmstead Rouse Hill House, the neighbourhood in the Hills District is now an in-demand suburb offering easy access to nearby business hubs and the Sydney CBD, 45 kilometres away.
One of the latest growth spurt was the recent opening of the Metro Northwest, a high-frequency rail service that takes 40 minutes to travel between Rouse Hill and Chatswood via Castle Hill and Epping.
An extension to the CBD and Bankstown is also expected to be up and running by the mid-2020s, with plans to eventually link the network to the new Western Sydney Airport.
The Hills District has long been known for its lifestyle appeal. Until recently, what was missing was the convenience of efficient transport links. With the introduction of the metro line, it has opened up the entire Hills area like never before, making it a far more accessible local, especially Rouse Hill. Coupled with its competitive price point has made it a very appealing location to both owner-occupiers and investors.
Other parts are also easily accessible with the business hubs at Norwest and Macquarie Park connected by rail, the Parramatta town centre being less than 30 minutes away by car and the Hillsbus also operates in the neighbourhood.
A new hospital is also planned for Windsor Road as well as plans for a new town centre at Tallawong, the start of the metro line.
Rouse Hill offers public primary and high schools, as well as Rouse Hill Anglican College. Other well-regarded schools in the area include Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School in Baulkham Hills and William Clarke College in Kellyville.
“Live at the heart of the Town Centre, but feel a world away”
Connected to the existing Town Centre by the new pedestrian overpass and 300 metres from the Rouse Hill Metro station, the apartments will put residents in the ideal position to enjoy a lifestyle that’s tranquil, cohesive and connected.
